Doge's Portfolio - Programmer [CLOSED]

dogerobloxicon Doge’s Portfolio — Programming

A warm welcome to Doge’s portfolio, whereas I briefly introduce myself within my interests and the skills I’m capable of

  • I intend to write programs (scripts), alongside designing modern User Interface, with a slight construction of realistic, and poly, builds.

  • I’ve been a member of the Roblox community since 2015, with a concurrent hobby of programming since 2019 - a 2-year dedicated experience. I’m strong passionate about composing systems and other creations within Studio, alongside assisting people in DevForum externally (with over 69 solutions). From my past experience, I’ve contributed as a Developer for over 20 different groups, formerly most of them.

I do accept criticism, and I want to assure that my commissions are fulfilled to a high expectation - conducting as much as revision necessary to create the best final product.

Capabilities I possess:
  • I’m able to utilise HttpService. This service is used for managing webhooks (as you’d see on Discord, posts from in-game), managing the Trello board, and retrieving data from Roblox (API).

Therefore, I’m able to create webhooks, use Trello for your game (getting cards into the game, and such), achieve anything you’d want from Roblox (such as all the users in a group role) - you choose.

  • I’m able to utilise TweenService for animating your User Interface - making them floating screen objects move smooothlyy without a chop! This can also be used for objects.

Tell me how you want it! It’s simple. Modern.

  • I’m able to utilise MessagingService for updating all servers at once from an individual server! Whenever you desire to publish a topic, a love letter, or anything, it can be seen by other servers with this service.

But professionally, it can be used to notify other servers with a mature announcement. This is a cross-server thing. If you want to tell others from separate servers that you’re canceling an event, and not just yours, this service is responsible for that.

  • I’m able to utilise DataStoreService for saving in-game data and retrieving it back to the player - anything can be saved. This service is also used for creating leaderboards within transitions.

Anything can be stored - reviews, numbers, text, you name it.

I mostly specialise in creating systems, such as those “Order Systems” you’d mainly see in the industrial Roblox groups like in SizzleBurger, and any other - honestly, ask me anything.

I could do much more that have been unlisted, but I presume these are the significant factors when in terms of looking for recruitment. If you have an inquiry, contact me on Discord or DevForum.

I’m commonly interested in Roblox industrial communities (such as cafes, restaurants), as they’re focused mainly on systems and design reliability - however, I’m more than welcome to accept any other project commissions! Ensure to read the “Before Commissioning” summary.

Past commissions (history, reviews):

I made a Host Tool, from the beginning of 2020, that operates schedules and announcements. A full guide is provided in the link. It consists of an in-game system, within webhooks. V2 could come out soon, but isn’t near done yet.

[1] I’ve created a dial, that was suggested by Yeetzer, for a wipeout group - which requires for you to hit the marker to avoid being stunned when hit (similar to Flee the Facility). Here are examples:

Furthermore information

[2] As a long-term scripter for Crustiez, I was requested to develop a variety of advanced systems, which relate to an average restaurant game you’d encounter it in. Look beneath for details.

an order system
  • the way that this system function is fairly simple. The client orders food from the menu to a cashier, then it’s sent to the kitchen for the cooks to make. Here’s a timeline:
Event GIF
Successful username input show
Failed username input show (there’s different errors)
Creating order show (even bigger cards stack, but was removed due to lack of toppings)
Added to board (sent) show
Make your own orders and food game, cookbook (view all the content)
:handto'ing orders show (logo is shown to track them too)

The user interface is entirely made by me, with text edited by the owners.

announcement system
  • as all the industrial groups, I’ve implemented an announcement system which displays text every 20 seconds and can be used by highly ranked players. It’s easily accessible!

here’s the structure of how the command is used:
!announce/!ann {message} [delayTime],
!announce this is a cool message 10

command: !announce or !ann
message: {message}
how long until reset: [delayTime] (basically how long it’ll stay up for.)

Event GIF
System message show (all the messages are in a table)
Personal announcement show (is prioritised over the system message)

The user interface is entirely made by me, with text edited by the owners.

points system
  • the system is self-explanatory. Each time a staff member submits an order or delivers the order to the client, it’ll reward them a point along with points gamepasses (stackable). It saves.

The module allows getting points, saving points, adding points (even with commands), and managing access to gamepasses!

nitro booster perks
  • the script searches for the user in the server and sees when the user has nitro boosted. They receive a particle and icon overhead if they did. It can be checked anytime by the function().

top donator (from open-source board)
  • created a humanoid to dance with a billboard UI, showcasing the donator’s appearance and name. It refreshes along with the board (open-source).

I’m looking forward to posting more here in near future.

#Reviews

[3] Another group that I’m programming for is known as Beaches Hotels & Resorts, which primarily focuses on being a hotel industry. As I’m doing long-term scripting for them, new work will be posted:

!slock and !host system
  • !slock is known as server lock, and whenever you specify a number after the command (such as 9 for the group role id), it’ll kick people that are underneath the requirement.

  • !host basically displays the host of the interview/training.

Event GIF
!slock/!host show
!unslock/!unhost show
respecting chat’s position show
changing colour themes show (saves)
idle while changing show (resets)

The user interface is also mobile optimised, and it animates respectively.

To show the community my recent commissions, all the reviews (optional to uptake) will be shown in the summary above, including the comments underneath, Discord messages, and such.

Their request will be shown too - alongside with the permission for the final product, and to where it’ll be established to view it in person.

Payment:

Payments are negotiable, and must be sent via PayPal (£ currency is advised) or transacted with Roblox group funds/assets (such as Shirt) with marketplace taxes.

The payment is decided upon the complexity, time, and the method you’re willing to pay in. It’s currently converted to:

Robux GBP
100 Robux £0.50
1000 Robux £5.00 (x10 of above)

You’re always welcome to tip me.

The payments are negotiable, and if you presume that you’re low on budget or assume that the cost is overpriced, feel free to let me know, and request a preferred amount.

Before commissioning:

Don’t be afraid to message me - I’m open to inquiries, requests, and anything else. It may take some time for me to end up replying to your response, hence don’t worry about it. For commissions:

  • please ensure that you’re clear with what you want to obtain, and how it is required to be structured,

  • tell me about your group/game that you’re working on - this is to acquire knowledge of the community,

  • if possible, include examples of how you want it to work (diagrams, drawing, anything),

  • let me know you’re from this post. If referred (to a friend, group), tell them that they’re from you.

  • optional: negotiate/estimate price for a head-start.

Feel free to ask me anything by utilising “Contact me on” summary beneath - before you plan to commission me, read “Before commissioning” for appropriate formatting.

Doge was hired in early July for @t1ivq 's restaurant project. Over the past months, he’s made our ordering, cooking, amongst other systems for us. Always on time, and very creative. Very friendly and fun to speak with. I highly recommend Doge for all projects!
