If you are typing something with text after the cursor, then press tab to complete autofill, it will replace the word after the cursor rather than adding the autofill and keeping the content after the cursor. This is annoying UX

I believe this is intended behaviour. If I’m editing the middle of a word I still expect autocomplete to work.
This is unexpected to me, having used many different IDEs and text editors throughout my career.

I think it should replace the current word, but only if it matches with what it’s going to get replaced by.

Doesn’t happen to me in other editors like VSCode. Or even Notepad++.
