Don't sort groups based on alphabetical order

I can’t stress enough how annoying it is.

Groups that start with a special character, or A, B, C besides the primary ones are highlighted all times.

And that recently became an issue SINCE EVERYONE CAN BE IN UP TO 100 GROUPS :open_mouth:

Basically, every group with a better first letter has a huge advantage, as it will always stand out from the rest, which isn’t really any fair and espcially not beneficial for indie studios.

Long story short: Fix the sorting, make it based on the size, from the biggest size to the smallest size!

Way better this way!

I don’t see how this would be convenient for finding groups. People won’t know the size of every group they’re in off the top of the head, but they’re far more likely to remember the name of the group meaning they will know the first letter and where to look on the list.

The significant groups would pop up first in all of the other groups.

This doesn’t make sense to me. For example on Discord, I’m in a couple of huge servers, but I place them nowhere near the top of my server bar, because my smaller development servers are much more interesting. Size is not an automatic indicator of relevance (to one particular user) when it comes to communities like this.

It should instead be based on what groups you visit/interact with the most.

Give us Discord-esque sorting

Just fix the sort in general. Size was the first thing that came to my mind.

I can add on to this feature request. When searching for groups, they base it on their size, which is basically the opposite of what you are saying for groups you are in. It doesn’t come up with a search based on what keywords/words you searched, but rather groups with matching parts of the word, or with the letters of the search. It is very annoying, and leads me of having to go to an extensive process, such as find a user that is in that group, or if they have clothing, to search the name as a filter for who made the clothes.

This is very important, as I have searched for a group, let’s say, Astrone Clothing, a very small group, and the search comes up with some random group like The USA Army, with thousands of people.
