So I have noticed that many games use a Highlight-like thing that has dots inside it.
How do i make that?
(Normal highlight doesnt do that for me)
Ex.: Wow i cant find examples on google
[NOTE]: Maybe its only visible as dotted on mobile, as i see no pc users see it as dotted
[NOTE2]: Its not actually dots, theyre squares but they look like dots so i call them that loll
that should be some defects of the highlight object for the device players
Highlights have an automatic dithering effect when your graphics quality isn’t high enough. Depending on the device (VRAM amount), you’ll always see dithered highlights. PCs don’t have dithering, unless the graphics quality is very low.
TLDR: It’s an intended effect that you cannot recreate.
Personally, I don’t like this effect at all even my MSI RX 5700 8GB graphics card has this effect. It doesn’t make any sense and it looks terrible It should allow developers to choose whether to enabled this or not ,or make a localscript can turn this on and off the filter on the needs of that player.
