"Download my Data" on Settings page

As a Roblox user, it is impossible to obtain a personal copy of any data collected on my account through the website.

Under GDPR laws, I should be able to easily obtain a copy of any data a website has collected on me, however Roblox makes this very difficult by

  1. Not having a “Download my Data” button anywhere on the site.
  2. The support form does not have a direct option for any GDPR related requests.

Roblox’s Privacy policy also mentions that they are legally reqiuired to provide the user with a copy upon request. The issue is the difficulty of requesting this information.

It isn’t strictly impossible, though you are right in that it is outlandishly difficult (and intentionally so, as Roblox are verifying citizenship for no reason). I absolutely support this becoming a feature for all users though, even if they’re not in the EEA / UK. The right to privacy and your data should run deeper than just the letter of the law and should embody the spirit of it too.
