In the video provided below, it shows me first writing anything in the script that triggers a draft to start recording changes. Hitting ctrl-z to undo these changes and then discarding the draft has no effect, I can still edit the script and the draft will correctly start recording again. However, this breaks when I instead highlight and delete those changes. Upon highlighting, deleting, then discarding the draft, new changes to that script will not be recorded. When you leave and come back to said script your changes will be lost and you wouldn’t have noticed it unless you were constantly checking your drafts window.
How to reproduce:
- Go into any undrafted script
- Make changes
- Highlight changes and delete causing no new edits
- Discard draft
- Start making changes again; data will not be recorded
