Drag Detectors not working in studio

I was trying to test out the drag detectors in studio so I inserted a part and just put a drag detector in it, but it doesnt work for me, I got free models with it and those didnt work too. I published the game and tried it in game and only that works. Is there a way to fix this?

Added a part, added a DragDetector, press play, mouse over the part and the cursor changes, click and hold and the part moves as expected. If the part is anchored, it still moves, just not well. Seems to also work fine if added to a model vs just a base part.

FYI: A dragdetetor will take precendence over a clickdetector but the cursor shown is the one for the clickdetector.

Not sure why it’s not working for you, maybe try a new place as see if it works there.

nah ive made a new place and still didnt work, I just added a blank part and just the drag detector, but it only works in studio, this is real weird and annoying

Drag Detectors not working in studio

Was that meant to say “but it still only works in game”?

A tiny note in the documentation mentions " Remember that DragDetectors only work in Studio if you’re not using the Select, Move, Scale, or Rotate tools."
Could that be your issue?

I dont think I am, I simply load into the game, try to drag it and nothing, I dont think im accidentally turning select, move, scale or rotate tools on

Ok i fixed the issue
I turned all my plugins off and it now works
it must be something to do with plugins that run in the background / use your mouse
