What up Robloxians! Nano-tech studio here. a professional team made by 6 developers. We are planning to finish at 3/1. I am wondering if you will click on play if you see the concept of it. Detailed feedback is appreciated.
Game Concept
Drone simulator is similar to Fall Out 4, except … better! Players lives in a underground sci fi city. You can acquire new drones, upgrade them, and add weapons and accessories to them. The underground city runes on energy, Players send and control drones to hunt beasts and collect energy from their body. When you reach above ground, you get to explore the terrain as a drone, then you look for monsters and defeat them to collect energy from their corpse. You sell the energy underground and get money for new drones. Assuming it has as much funding needed.
The most intriguing part is probably the maps, and drone designs and maybe some sfx, as we hired showcase builders and experienced game developers to review for us.
simulator. People dislike simulators. You should name it something else.
The game idea is amazing though, I might not of clicked on it because I personally dislike simulators. However, knowing it’s not your normal sim I’d play it.
I absolutely love your idea.
I personally don’t play simulators, but I’d definitely play your simulator once released.
For the drones, will players have weapons?
If so, you could have starter weapons which players can upgrade.
Here are some map ideas as well:
• Artic
• Jungle
• Volcanic island
• Beach
• Dessert
•In the deep ocean
• Mineshafts
• In space: planets like mars, the moon, etc.

(I’d also suggest you don’t call it a simulator as it’s not one and simulators have a really bad stigma around them (rightfully) especially around your desired target audience.)
Love the game idea but I think you should rename it and add more action maybe like bosses cause if not players might just get bored of playing since you kill mobs collect energy and sell them other than that is pretty awesome! Love the concept!
And this is a pretty wrong answer. Simulators are the most attractive names for a game. Although simulator shouldn’t be used to make a ripoff for money and copying a game. I personally dislike simulators as well, but there’s a huge fan base that like simulators. Don’t judge things by your opinions and what you think because people might think something different.
I have played only the part of Fallout 4 when you leave from the bunker, i want to say that this looks like a simulator and it’s not creative as you think, you can add unique battles with other drones, find information or easter eggs, or make something very unique for open worlds: Bases outside the bunker made by yourself.
While I’m personally not a fan of the ‘everything is a simulator’ trend, this is, for now, very wrong. Putting ‘Simulator’ in your game name instantly improves your click-through ratio by a fairly significant amount, although this trend will probably die eventually along with ‘Tycoon’ and ‘[Noun] Craft’
