Drop-down menu for "Documentation" tab on Roblox Creator Hub is missing

On the Roblox Creator Hub, there is typically a drop-down menu that appears when you click on the Documentation button. However, starting on June 13th, 2024, the drop-down menu no longer appears.

The drop-down menu made it possible to quickly and easily navigate between the following pages without needing to go back to https://create.roblox.com/docs to select any of the other categories:

Without the drop-down menu, it is more tedious to navigate between different categories within the Roblox Creator Documentation site.

Date First Experienced:

  • June 13th, 2024

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Open any page on the Roblox Creator Hub ( https://create.roblox.com/ )
  2. Look at the navigation bar at the top of the page
  3. Observe that the drop-down menu for the “Documentation” tab is missing.

System Information:

  • Windows 10 OS. Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz
  • Memory: 32.0 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Browser Information:

  • Google Chrome - Version 126.0.6478.61 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Expected behavior

The expected behavior is that the drop-down menu is visible on the Roblox Creator Documentation site to make navigating between different categories of the documentation faster and easier.

As of writing this Bug Report on June 14th, 2024, the drop-down menu still exists in the navigation bar at the top of the Roblox Developer Forum. However, once you navigate to the Documentation site, the drop-down menu disappears again.

Hi StrongBigeMan9, thanks for the report  I’m part of the team that made this change and wanted to confirm that we did this on purpose, and are looking into replacing it with a better way of getting around the documentation part of the Creator Hub. The Forum part is actually the bug :') Stay tuned for the new feature!
