Duplicate Ban - Accepted Appeal Won't Reinstate Account Nor Asset [ACCOUNT RESTORED, STILL WAITING ON T-SHIRT ASSET]

One of the Flag Sash Assets I made in 2022 was taken down for Violent Extremism on late October 30th
I appealed it, and it was accepted early in the morning on November 1.
I’ve been waiting now for over 12 hours to have both the account and the asset reinstated only to notice the same ban on the same asset is listed twice on the violations and appeals page.

Expected behavior

There should be one item listed on the Violations and the Appeals page and the account and 2D T-Shirt should be reinstated Post Haste.

EDIT: I have also sent an email directly to Roblox Support because of the length of time it has already taken since posting this Bug Report on the Dev Forum. It’s not an avenue I wanted to go down, but I am getting very impatient.

EDIT 2: Still no response after a full day from anyone on the forum or the support ticket.
What is going on? Moderation was never this slow before.

EDIT 3: after a second day of waiting, Still, with no response from Support nor any staff on the Dev Forum, I will see what the second Violations and Appeals option does. This looks like Double Jeopardy, but I put in the same text of my appeal with a link to the previous one that was accepted.

EDIT 4: All Appeals have gone through successfully. I appealed both “items” under Violations and Appeals for the Same Image Item, “both” approved, so the ban was lifted on the account.
I sent an Email to Appeals about the T-Shirt, approved, but the T-shirt was not restored.
Appeals then forwarded my ticket over to Customer Support on November 11.
Today is November 25th and I have not received update response from Customer Support since despite them saying to wait up to 48 hours.

I have no idea what’s going on at this point. Is it a bug? is it bureaucratic nonsense?
I am now left in the dark.

Hello? Hello?

I have no idea why its taking so long for this to be addressed either on here or the Support ticket.

They will not reinstate anyone…you’re part of that club. I don’t know how I am still standing.

This happens through the DSA report system, available in the EU. Often, during decision-making, you’ll receive a message that the resource has been removed and action has been taken, but the content is still available. Each subsequent report duplicates moderator actions until the content is successfully removed.

So what is my best course of action?

Go through the second appeal option (which looks a lot like double jeopardy) or wait for the Support to get back to me, which I have linked the first successful appeal.

FINAL UPDATE:
Both appeals have been approved, made it through the trial by fire.
The account is back, but still waiting for the T-Shirt to be reinstated.

I’m still waiting for the T-Shirt to be fully restored.

You have to contact Customer Support to get the classic t-shirt restored. The appeal you submitted through Violations & Appeals for the t-shirt’s image isn’t the same as an appeal for the classic t-shirt, which requires further review.

You can use the Feature Requests category to submit it as a feature request, since the Appeals Portal doesn’t support classic clothing deletion appeals yet.

I actually have done this, and they sent me this message through Customer Support saying the asset has been approved, but nothing has happened since I received this email on November 4th.

Asset ID 9172437776 isn’t a marketplace item, so it can’t be classic clothing. Are you sure you’re sending the correct ID?

If it existed and had been deleted, instead of giving this error, it should have redirected me back to the catalog page.

So… the image is restored but not the shirt?
Because I’m still getting this:

Would appear so then. Atleast I guess that’s likely the case?

Maybe? Do I need to keep pressing support with emails to reinstate the T-Shirt when they think they job is done just with the underlying image?

UPDATE:

This time I sent an appeal for the specific Classic T-Shirt asset, which is different from the Image asset that was moderated before.

Support claims the asset has already been restored, but clearly the asset is NOT restored and still shows it to be moderated. Fortunately it looks like Appeals Support forwarded it to Customer Support, according to their email. Maybe there’s some movement for this final push to have this T-Shirt restored.

This whole ordeal is a bureaucratic mess. I thought business was supposed to make things more efficient. The DMV is more straightforward than this.

UPDATE:
On November 14, Appeals finally forwarded the issue to Customer Support.
The Message from Customer Support says it could take up to 48 hours to resolve. They sent this on a Friday, so nothing was done over the weekend, and now its the late afternoon on Monday. Reminder that this issue started on October 30, it’s like a never ending Halloween nightmare.

The last sentence on the possibility of the issue being unresolvable if its a system or device specific issue has me worried that Customer Support will just use that as an excuse to just… not reinstate this T-Shirt.

One of my classic T-shirts was deleted 5 days ago, and I’ve been experiencing the same issue recently. They said it would be restored within 3 days but didn’t. They were pretty fast to respond to the support ticket, replying in 24 minutes. Since they identified shortly after that it didn’t violate the rules, it should have been restored by now, or there must be a systematic error. :sob::wilted_flower:

They replied..

Bro remains undefeated.

What’s interesting with your situation is that Appeals is working on restoring the T-Shirt, meanwhile my experience with Appeals is done. They shifted me over to Customer Support as if its more of a technical issue in restoring my T-Shirt.

That line though
“… but please rest assured…”
yeah, that’s a sign it’s going to take a long time.

Ok, what’s the deal?

Customer Support said to “please wait up to 48 hours to receive a reply”

Its been almost a week since I received that message.
What’s going on? What’s taking so long?

i think i got a similar problem but ive been banned for like 6-7 months now
