There are two Friendship badges on my profile, so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug.

On my old account, I had two Veteran badges. It happens, but it is rare.

Got a few questions for you. 
- Do you know of any steps to reproduce this, such as on a new account?
- Is it happening by random chance?
- Does it happen when you earn the badge or at a different time?

- Not sure how to reproduce, but as far as I know, it has to do something with 20 friends (obviously). I’ve tested this on a new account and it only gave me one badge, so I think it’s rare.
- I’m not sure, since I do not know when or how it happened.
- Same thing as before, I was unable to reproduce this. My alt received 20 friends and only got one badge.
Also, one of my other alt account has this issue with the two badges.

Is it just the friendship badge this is happening to or have you seen it happen with any others?

Maybe it happens when you friend your twentieth friend and you unfriend him/her just when he accepts you so you friend him again?

I only see it with the friendship badge, however @AlreadyPro mentioned that it happened to him with the veteran badge.
I would love to test this theory out somehow, but I’m not sure how.
Edit: Just realized, I was thinking of unfriending everyone, then friending 20 people.
