DVN: Warfare is back with a new build! it may not capture the picture of what made it exist in 2023 but I’ve finally released this, except this isn’t actually supposed to be a game yet, hence why “Dev Build” exists in the title so to gather bugs and things to improve, you’ll only see just another boring test (but don’t worry, i had more of em coming!)
The reason for a reset of version is due to complexity on adding, fixing game etc. that results in lots of delays, optimization also became impossible to fix while focusing on new content
while this isn’t meant to be a functioning game yet, there’s still lots of things to be made and i appreciate the feedback you guys have suggested
Changes logs
+ Added BN36 (DMR) for recon in the future
* Entire framework is replaced with another stable tool from previous projects, this means that bugs may become rare in certain circumstances
* UI style has been re-designed
* Optimized NPC System to support more than 40 (may not be performant with lots of projectile)
* Fixed where projectiles registering while iterating recursively cause a massive freeze
* Fixed tools falling in server side when going in first person (tools back then had a sudden fall, causing it to disappear)
* any weapons while aiming will no longer sway and swing influenced by camera and mouse movement
* Mobile support has been paused for a test (see you in Dev Build 3)
- some parts of DEMO 2 and 1.5 were scrapped and some were re-added
in the meantime while you’re here, Dev Build 2 will possibly come in the next month if things go pretty well which includes some more weapons and NPC
