Dynamic Damage Vignette

Hello

I am Lordlnu, my first post.

I am looking for feedback on this vingette system I made quickly.
Unsure how I can improve on making it better.
(And also make a better name for it, “WIP Immersive health blur blood thing.” is not good… help me)
EDIT : Thank you to @VauItZone for the idea of “Dynamic Damage Vignette”

My goal for this is to make the game feel more immersive, mainly meant for a PvP game.

About it.
5 stages,
0 - Dark + blur
1 - Light blood, slight blur + a bit of darkness
2 - more blood, more blur, more darkness
3 - a lotta blood, a lotta blur, a lotta darkness
4 - Nothing

Should I make a tutorial???

Dynamic Damage Vignette

You should. Some people would probably need it and you can get a few people to help you make it better.

Welcome to the Roblox Developer Forum @Lordlnu! :happy3:

Also, my opinion about your 5 stages on your PvP game is, that they are cool! :happy1:

This is your option, not mine. If you want to make a tutorial make it! Keep working on them! :happy3:

Dynamic Damage Vignette

Such a good idea, thank you!

Do you have any ideas on how I can accually improve it? I recently thought of using the EZ camera shake module, but am still thinking.

Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback.

I will 100% be doing a tutorial now, but before that I would like to polish it a bit more.
Do you got any ideas on how I can improve it? As I said in my other responce, I will be trying to use the EZ camera shake, but apart from that, I am stuck on ideas.

Thanks!

Maybe, a blur would look better tho.

Its already been added, should I make it more visible?

Yeah, its barely visible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Yes, I have some ideas, but to make a tutorial you don’t need copy paste. If you want to watch on YouTube some Roblox tutorials and focus on how they are making them! Also when you make the tutorial please mention me, because I want to watch it!

Have a nice day @Lordlnu! Good luck with your tutorial! :happy3:

Thanks!

I was going to do one on the dev forum, including how to make the vignette part using a free open source program called “Inkscape”. If they don’t want to make the vignette, then proving that as a file. Then having them listen to me explain code…

My only issue is making my code read-able before explaining it. :expressionless:

Thanks for your feedback!

Hey, Welcome to the Dev Forum! I really like how it looks. Many people would probably be interested in a tutorial.

Thank you!

100% something I am going to do now!

Your welcome @Lordlnu! Have a nice day! :sunglasses:
