I’m not sure if this is just me…but I feel like the clouds just got extremely noisy on my end:
Well yes but @so1ehee showed the fflag for the clouds we currently have and it was false and we thought it was phase 2. So I went and try and turn it on in studio mod manager to play around with it but it was already on and what was on was the clouds we currently have. And roblox doesn’t need to add it into studio mod manager only the fflag needs to exist so I can override it to true if its false
Have noticed aswell. Only done when its father from you though its pretty noticeable.
May I ask where is this from exactly?
Wait, how do I add clouds into my game?
Cloud will look better if you’re adding atmosphere to the lighting here the different with and without it
WITH ATMOSPHERE
WITHOUT ATMOSPHERE
damnn the clouds looks so better and not noisy and kinda high quality
That first image can not be roblox.
Please for the love of god send me your Cloud Settings and the skybox. Looks great
Heard the clouds can crash my ROBLOX Studio whenever I put it in StarterPack
Edit: I was testing how the clouds look then my ROBLOX Studio crashed when I put Atmosphere and Clouds in “Lighting”, Anyone solve this problem?
It works fine for me?
Maybe try reinstall studio and see if this fix it. If not, then try to put a cloud on workspaces then atmosphere on lighting.
What are the cloud properties for the first image? Thx ^^
there u go also u need to find some high-quality skybox to make it look more wow owo
I hope this helping u
This is a better look on how dynamic clouds are generated.

I found a visual glitch to get this effect and I’m not telling anyone how because Roblox is gonna patch it and the fun is over.
Noticed something.
When you attempt to go above the clouds, and yes they move up and down in the worldspace, a strange visual bug occurs. The horizon gains this black edge, and the clouds turn upside down and start going upwards, like they’re going twice your upwards velocity.
I can tell the clouds are actually inverted once you get past them, since their illuminated side is on the bottom now.
Thanks for the advice! Now as I see it, all the attributes are coming up together with some sorta message for us (i guess???).
Quick question, will clouds eventually get enabled on mobile? Because its says on the roadmap it’s for non mobile platforms
Developers would want to use the clouds for cloudy weather but on mobile It’ll be clear.
Also please dont make it 2d on lower settings, it should be 3d on all settings. Imagine how weird it would be to use it as volumetric lighting or in a flight sim then fly through a thin piece of texture. It wont be immersive at all, it should be equally immersive on all settings but just look worse. Just degrade the quality and keep it 3D, I think it’s pretty performant already.
Clouds feel like they are moving up/down with the camera, this is weird when flying because it feels like the clouds are falling when going down. There is also a black bar around the horizon
