I want to make an SCP E to interact door.

I don’t know how to script but I don’t want someone to do it for me I want to learn how.

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?

but I don’t know how to make it to a specific tool.

Please do not ask people to write entire scripts or design entire systems for you. If you can’t answer the three questions above, you should probably pick a different category.

Just make sure that you have the tool in your player’s character.

You should check out Proximity Prompts. They might help you.

Using a IF statement, you can check if they have a card or not via a table of accepted cards.

I think you were trying to use a tool to open, like a keycard. That is what my answer would be.

Check if ToolName is a tool using ToolName:IsA(“Tool”)
