Easier payment method changes for Plus subscriptions

If you subscribe to Roblox Plus using a credit/debit card, you cannot switch to using Roblox Credit without cancelling your subscription and waiting for it to end. This immediately resets your “Subscribed Since” date, and puts you back on the two-month countdown for the full 20% discount Plus offers.

This isn’t made very clear if you’re already under a Roblox Plus subscription from launch. You were unable to use Roblox Credit for a few months after Plus was released, and the Get Plus button on the Redeem Roblox Codes page doesn’t show up until your subscription expires.

I’ve had +$100 in Roblox Credit since before Plus released, but lost my 20% discount over the six minutes between getting emailed about losing Plus and buying a one year package. If there was a way to swap payment types while currently subscribed, or even just a grace period before the Subscribed Since date reset, that would make keeping an active Plus subscription a lot easier.

That’s genuinely very inconvenient. I ran my roblox plus subcription out as well and couldn’t change it until the old subscription wore off, so having my 20% off removed after multiple months of roblox plus is such a gut punch to users who were subscribed. Honestly, itnwould be much more fair for users to keep their 20% off bonus if they are eligible (being subscribed for over 3 months) even if their roblox plus runs out. Once they resubscribe, their 20% bonus can be activated again and they would not have to deal with any drawbacks.
