For those who are struggling to find the right tool grip and want it fixed quickly… here is probably the easiest and fastest way to do it! Here’s the solution to your problem. By following these simple steps you’ll be done in no time.
So let’s begin!
Step 1: Creating the tool and handle
Go to your top bar and in your ‘Insert’ section you’ll need to insert a part.
Then you’ll need to rename the part into “Handle”. Once that’s done, create a Tool in workspace and place both handle and the item/object(main gear) into the Tool. Make sure both your items and handle are unanchored to make your tool work perfectly.
Step 2: Finding the right position of the item
As you all know, this step is where everyone find it difficult. Your tool should be place on the front side of your handle (the green surface is the front side of the handle). The back side of the handle is where your right hand/arm will be holding the tool. The red arrows shown might be a little help .
Place your item on front of the handle. Make sure the item is rotated correctly and fits your ideal of how the item should be before placing it on front of the handle.
Step 3: Welding your item with your handle
Using this script to weld your handle and item together.
It’s a welding script that help parts connect in a particular model/group or anything that could weld the parts together. This way it will make the tool not loose
Step 4: Finishing touches
Players wouldn’t like to see the handle visible in game. Resizing the handle smaller to make the tool suitable and very pleasant for players.
Then you’ll need to set its transparency to 1 to make it look like the item is there alone.
Then place the Tool in the workspace to the StaterPack
And your done!
