This bug is where if you edit a post there is a good chance the edited icon does not appear, however, if you edit the post multiple times (1-3 times) the icon will appear.
It started happening beginning of may if I recall correctly.

To reproduce it all you have to do is post something and edit it.
Workaround:
Editing a post several times with meaningless text to make the icon show up.
(I can replace those screenshots with more professional example posts.)
What I noticed is that the edit icon doesn’t show up if you edit within 5 minutes of creating the post. I’m not sure if there’s any exceptions to this (e.g. a large amount of change maybe), but the 5-minute rule is what I definitely know.
The icon just appears when the post was edited 5 mins later after it was originally posted or if you add a large amount of changes

Yep there actually is, by default if the edit is >100 characters then it creates a new diff in the edit history.
