Occurances such as http://puu.sh/8zvhv.jpg show the problems facing roblox. A simple scam like that could HARVEST A LOT OF PASSWORDS FROM GENERAL USERS ON ROBLOX. A lot of troublesome actions on ROBLOX can be time sensitive, such as in that picture shown where the longer it is out the more accounts can be compromised.
I believe Users here on RBXDev have shown a large amount of responsibility towards ROBLOX and we should be allowed to elect a few users from this forum to become player moderators. These moderators have the ability to flag certain assets for immediate moderation by ROBLOX staff and if they do a good job will be granted the ability to immediately take an asset down and flag it for review. This should help keep ROBLOX a safer place for the younger audience and help the moderation team perform their job more accurately and more responsively.
Having users not only elect each other but also have to work and prove themselves to gain full moderation privileges will prevent a lot of abuse of powers. Of course abuse of powers may still happen, and therefor should be handled very harshly. They should be given 2 warnings before losing their title of a player moderator or if they cause a large amount of damage, ban them on ROBLOX and on RBXDev.
NOTE: This should not take over any existing moderation roles but be there to assist them do their job better.
This is a serious problem. When I saw this image on Skype when Silent posted it my immediate reaction was āoh god thatās badā. Roblox moderators canāt do everything, as they have specific sections they need to moderate. They canāt just join every game that someone indicates for them to in order to check if it requires moderation. This is a valid complaint, and while the above method would work it would require much more consideration before actual implementation.
If ROBLOX canāt moderate things like this within the time period that you want, what makes you think that a few people from this forum would be able to?
Where exactly have members of RbxDev shown a large amount of responsibility? Or even maturity for that matter? Some users are unable to post in the correct section, whilst others find it incredibly amusing to go off on tangents or go into extreme detail about things they shouldnāt. Others find it hilarious to just post useless replies, or throw images like thereās no tomorrow.
Regardless LuaWeaver. If a person, paid by ROBLOX, cannot resolve a trivial issue without the help of someone six years younger than them, they should perhaps reevaluate their career path instead of allowing users to see inappropriate behaviour.
Iād also like to point out that even if it were a few users, you would still have people vote on their friends, rather than the people who should have it. This then leads to them getting said position, and potentially being one of the people who donāt know how to post a valid response, or prefer images over words in every situation.
I realise that moderation will never be perfect, but how exactly is throwing inexperienced teenagers into the mix going to help, at all? Sure, it may help with some issues, but overall you could have suggested that the moderators reprioritise reports, add new options, or show moderators what to look for in a scam place, like that.
Also, despite users picking up on the immaturity and irresponsibility of users on this forum, users would still vote for them āfor a laughā or āegg them onā.
The fact of the matter is, something better needs to be done about the moderation for ROBLOX. Itās not anywhere near as good as it could be.
And as for the issue of people electing other users āfor the fun of itā, we might tack on the idea that users have to apply to be in even considered for user moderators. Itās not anymore work than it is to do what theyāre doing now, which is wait for users to report something then jump on it as soon as possible, which in quite a few cases is not very soon.
No, Iām not saying that. What Iām saying is that they donāt always have fast enough reaction times for something like the given example. Who are they going to moderate? The user that put it in? Good for them; now how do they fix the stolen accounts? Do they moderate the place? Why? The place has done nothing wrong.
The issue isnāt the moderation time or anything of the sort. Itās simply that the moderators cannot be in every place at once.
Granting some players more power wouldnāt be to bad I guess, itās worth a shot. As long as these players are committed to it by that taking a few minutes a day to find inappropriate games or items and this would work excellent.

Gave you a Thank You for 1), not as much for 2).
I agree - thereās always going to be too large of a ratio between users/moderators. The best way to deal with stuff like this is REPORT it until itās taken care of, and get everyone else in the server to report it too.
Volunteer mods were done away with a few years ago; they rely on paid moderators now. IMO, OPās suggestion should be to hire MORE mods, not reinstate volunteer mods (not saying I agree with that sentiment; simply saying itās more realistic).
Yeah, Iām not sure more moderation is the answer there.
Since Iām assuming that was exploited in, the answer is instead to continue working to patch exploits as they come up, and continue to spread awareness and educate that no, ROBLOX will never ask for your password anywhere other than the official login page. No number of moderators, paid or volunteered, would ever be able to work efficiently enough to check every game instance for stuff like that.
I wouldnāt mind moderating. I even have experience but if not Iād vote DataStore or Juriaan and havemeat they seem a sensible, reliable bunch. As well as vex
I think the suggestion in the OP isnāt half bad. At least it would take some work off of the moderators and point them towards things they might not have seen otherwise.
Even if itās not going to solve these problems, I think it will help a good bit towards doing so. I can imagine that moderators receive thousands of requests each day, a good bit of which arenāt nearly as problematic as OP, or are duplicate and/or false reports, or reports for something that isnāt even against the rules.
Giving a few trusted users an elevated priority when they report would help get a much quicker response from moderators where itās actually required. If those trusted users were then also given the ability to go through abuse reports, they could actually help pick out the abuse reports that require action and āget rid ofā a good deal of illegitimate/irrelevant reports.
I think quite a few of the people on here would be suitable for such a position. I think the risk of having one trusted user making a false abuse report is much less than the risk of having hundreds of users compromising their accounts by an exploiter with a GUI like that, because moderators werenāt able to respond quickly enough.
