Game Rules

Here at Emerald Theatre, we have guidelines that all members of our community must follow, alongside following the ROBLOX guidelines. We strive to provide a safe, friendly, fun, and welcoming environment for our community. Breaking these rules will result in consequences and possibly the removal of your rank.

  • Please be respectful to everyone, we do not tolerate any negativity.
  • Spamming/flooding the chat in any way is not permitted.
  • Homophobia, racism, and/or any other form of discrimination is not permitted.
  • Do not cheat/farm our in-game currency, caught doing so will result in consequences.
  • Exploiting and raiding are not permitted.
  • You can use capitals, however, please don’t be disrespectful or spam capitals.
  • Bypassing the chat/bypassed usernames/display names are not allowed.
  • F3X abusing and admin abuse are not permitted and consequences will occur if you’re - found to be abusing.
  • Trolling/being disruptive is not permitted.
  • Advertising in-game is not allowed.
  • Refrain from bringing up triggering and controversial topics.

Our MR+ team is capable of issuing a warning to individuals that break these rules and if taken to extreme measures, the removal of your rank.

Warning System

Non-Staff Warning System:

Any audience member or guest at Emerald Theatre will be expected to follow our rules at all times. If any guest or audience member chooses to break these rules, the following warning system will be used:

  • Reminder - you will be reminded of the rules and asked to stop.

  • Warning - if you continue you shall be warned and kicked from the server.

  • Banned - if you return and continue not to adhere to our rules you shall be banned from the server.

In serious cases, such as exploiting, you will not receive any reminder or warning and will be banned instantly with the possibility of receiving a permanent game ban.

Staff Warning System:

Staff members here at Emerald Theatre are given 3 warnings. These warnings are recorded and do not expire after a certain time length. Upon reaching the third warning, the LR will be demoted to the rank of Audience and given the opportunity to retrain as a staff member after reflecting on their actions. In serious cases, LRs can be demoted without the need for 3 warnings.

Members of staff who continuously find themselves being demoted will face being blacklisted from the game and unable to be a staff member at ET nor play the game as an audience member. Only in the most extreme cases will LRs be moved straight to a blacklist.

How To Work Here

In order to work at Emerald Theatre, there are several things that you must do.

  • Firstly, you must ensure that you have joined the group. If you have not, you cannot receive any rank-up. After joining our group, you must then join our Staff Application game and successfully pass the application. If you have, you will automatically be ranked to Trainee!

  • After becoming a trainee, you will need to attend a training session. We have 5 scheduled sessions a day, and up to 2 unscheduled ones on weekends. Any changes to this will be announced on our Communications Server and the group shout. If you’d like to find our session times, they can be found either in the Training Center description, the ‘Training Times’ section within this handbook, or within #server-information in our communications server.

  • Please ensure that you join at least 5 minutes early to secure your spot.

When you have joined a training session, ensure you select the rank you wish to train for using the “Role Select” menu in the bottom left.

After this, when the session begins, the host will state crucial information. It is necessary for you to pay attention and read everything stated by the host during this time. After the host has stated the rules, and trainers have gone to their stations, you will be asked to get up and head to your room.

There are three sections to a training session:

  • The Trolling Section
  • The Scenario Section
  • The Quiz Section.

If you pass all of these with 3 or more points, your trainer will rank you to the rank you select at the start of the session, meaning you’re successfully a staff member.

Note: Senior Crew Staff training is different, and you need more than 3 points to pass.

However, if you fail, you, unfortunately, will not be ranked and will need to attend another session to try again.

Want to train LRs? Want to moderate the Theatre?

  • We highly suggest that you work hard, and strive to be the best member of staff you can be! This could result in you being suggested for a Middle Rank position.
Additionally, our MR Vacancies Program occurs every month. MR Vacancies is where we allow all members that obtain the Senior Crew Staff position to apply for Theatre Supervisor.

Please note that hinting will not be tolerated at all, and could result in demotion.

When applying, there are a number of requirements you must meet in order to be eligible to become a Theatre Supervisor:

  • You cannot have safechat as we need you to be able to communicate without any problems. We also require that our Middle Ranks are 13 years of age or older as Discord Terms of Service state that users under 13 are not permitted to use the platform.
  • Your account age must be over 80 days old, we have this rule to ensure we do not get any trollers or alternative accounts applying. Of course, we will be doing background checks before hiring.
  • You must obtain the Senior Crew Staff to apply. Any other rank applying will be denied.
  • You must be within our communications server.

Note: There are 2 stages that you need to pass before you can officially become an MR. If you fail one of them, you must try again either next month or work hard for a recommendation.

Between each partnership, we establish a level of trust, and therefore, both parties must and will respect each other’s policies. No party should be able to dictate what policies each other can or cannot create. Unless impacted by the decision, affiliates agree that they must not involve themselves and take action on decisions we make either internally or externally.

Once you have completed all alliance questions with detail and proper grammar, please send them to a member of our Affiliate Relations Team for your application to be read and reviewed.

We would also appreciate you give us 48 hours or less to get back to you with your results. If we don’t reach back to you within 48 hours, please feel free to ask a member of our Affiliates Team for updates regarding your application!
