Non-Staff Ranks
[-] Suspended:
Suspended people are people who have done something to have them removed from their rank for a specific amount of time for things such as admin abuse. If a person rejoins the group while they’re still suspended they will not be allowed to get their rank back even if they reapply. We don’t suspend people for no reason; if you’re suspended, you’re suspended for a valid reason and chances are if you complain about your suspension HRs will be allowed to extend it or if necessary (hopefully not) ban. HRs must give warnings before suspending (that is if the abuse is not too extreme), if not contact a higher rank. If you would like to know the reason behind your suspension or feel you have been suspended unfairly, please ask the HR that suspended you or another HR politely why you were suspended or when the suspension is over.
NOTE: Our HRs are not required to present proof on suspension data. You CAN BE SUSPENDED even without our HRs gathering proof.
Audience:
The audience rank is the starter rank of EMPIRE. They are extremely important to EMPIRE and ensure that we stay the #1 theatre in Roblox because it makes up most of our members. Everybody is to respect them like any other player unless they are disrupting others at the theatre. In order to get this rank all you have to do is join our group!
LR’s (Low Ranks)
Actor:
Just like an Actor-In-Training they are important for our plays. Unlike the Actor-In-Trainings, though, they are much more experienced and have proven they are up to the task, as they have been promoted by an HR because of their performance for their rank. They often play lead roles and are chosen first when roles are handed out.
Barista:
Baristas run the cafe in the lobby, serving food and drinks to the staff and guests to keep everyone refreshed. Hosts are required to pick them as actors, after picking people with the rank of [2] Actor-in-Training or [3] Actor. They should not abuse their privilege of access to food by ‘trolling’ everyone and giving random people food unless it is asked for.
Technical Crew:
The technical crew contribute a good portion to a show by providing effective lighting, backgrounds, and special effects. They also open and close the curtains when the current host requests it. They may not abuse their rank by opening/closing the curtains at inappropriate times, changing lighting when the host does not say so, or by changing the effects/background at inappropriate times. The curtains button has a ‘last pressed by’ feature; do not think you can get away with attempting to ruin a show, as it is a quick and easy way to get suspended. Please only a few people in the tech room at once. Only technical crew (or hosts if there are none present) and HR’s are allowed in the tech room at any time, no one else.
Stylist:
Pretty self-explanatory, these ranks style actors for the plays that our hosts put on. To claim a booth, you must go up to a booth and click “Claim Booth”, and it’s now yours. If you leave, it’s game over for your booth. Once you leave, your booth is up for grabs by anyone. If you return and your booth is already claimed by another person, you cannot reclaim it for your build or any reason. You must style people if they ask and you can’t say that you’re “building your booth” as that’s not a valid reason and just plain rude, as long as you own a booth, you’re styling people. Building a wall over your booth with a “closed” sign also does nothing, don’t even bother. You can NEVER turn someone down. Stylists are allowed to act in plays but they are NOT allowed to build sets as they are not the Set Builder rank or above.
Set Builder:
Once again, pretty self-explanatory. These ranks build the sets for our plays. We build with F3X tools so we recommend you have fair knowledge of how to use these tools before you apply for this rank. Once the host says what to build you may start building the set. When you are building on the set, build things that are relevant to the set, and talk with the other set builders to know which part of the set they’re building.
Backstage Manager:
The backstage manager is in charge of what goes on behind the scenes. Backstage managers main job are to decorate backstage to make it look good, and to patrol backstage to make sure everyone is complying with the backstage rules, which are as follows:
- Stylists and Intern+ may only own a booth (it won’t let you otherwise).
- Do not build outside the template or extend the given size of your booth. Nothing should be floating or hanging out of the booth.
- Keep your booth theme unique, booths that make the backstage look unpresentable will be deleted by an Intern+ or Backstage Manager without warning.
- Do not copy other people’s ideas/themes without consent.
- Do not steal items from other people’s booths without consent.
- Do not delete or edit any booth except yours.
- Please follow these rules; failure to comply may result in a suspension.
- Do not start drama over petty things (e.g. someone deleted my chair, someone copied my flooring idea) and try to resolve it yourself (agree to disagree, ignore it, etc) before calling an Intern+.
Host:
These people put on plays for our audience to watch. To be added to the Hosting List you must go to Backstage and add your name to the host que. After the set is done or during the building of the set, the current host must choose the actors either at the backstage front desk. Also you must give Actor’s roles the first roles, then Actor-in-Training’s, and then everyone else in line. When you are hosting you are only allowed to use :m for the dialog in the show, nothing else. Before the play make sure you tell the actors where their starting positions are. During the play use :m to narrate it so the audience can clearly see it. Go backstage and click “Queue Next Host” when you are finished. New hosts to Empire are ranked as Host-in-Training, regardless if they apply directly for Host-In-Training or Host.
HR’s (High Ranks)
Intern
Interns, also referred to as an Internship, is a rank dedicated for hard working staff members to be selected through applications or a promotion to taste the responsibilities for becoming an Executive. This rank gives us a good idea of who is right for the job, and whether or not the Intern is ready to take on the task of becoming an Executive. They are mainly responsible for keeping an eye on the theatre, making sure everything is going to plan. They also help out with reading applications! You can obtain this by selection from Executives + or by applications which happen randomly. Selection is only by having a good background and recommended by HR’s (asking makes your chances go way down). Maturity, activity, and your ability to handle arguments all play a role in this. 1 or more suspensions, do not rehire (obviously), and severe disciplinary actions make your chance lower. ASKING FOR A PROMOTION LOWERS YOUR CHANCE OF PROMOTION AND IS JUST ANNOYING ITSELF. DO NOT DO IT.
Executive:
Executives are in charge of keeping EMPIRE a friendly and active community. They read applications, rank people up to the ranks they deserve, suspend those that do not comply with the rules, and ban exploiters/trolls. Executives are promoted from interns when HOO+’s feel as if they are ready to take on the task. These ranks are here to help you with any problems. To call an executive for help, PM them, or contact them on our Discord server. Report any Admin Abuse activity or any exploiters directly to them, and the Admin Abuser or exploiter will be swiftly dealt with. As well as interns, they are not responsible for intern applications.
Management Ranks
Head of Operations:
Head of Operations is in charge of the LRs and executives. They make sure the staff do their jobs properly and ensure the security of our theatre. They are in charge of everything that happens within the theatre and also its operations. These individuals have proven themselves worthy of this rank by being active and representing the theatre with responsibility and obedience.
Vice President:
The second highest rank attainable by normal staff members. Chances are rare to be promoted to this, but if you are considered worthy of this rank you may be promoted to it. These people look after all ranks below and work with the lower ranks. They work with the President and Founder to oversee that EMPIRE runs properly and the staff work efficiently. They help create events and also work on informing our staff about rules and work ethic.
President:
The President is the highest rank you can get as a staff member (although developer is above it is no longer a rank you can get). It is required that staff do not ask for this rank. The President is in charge of all the staff below and works on the overall operation of EMPIRE. She/He does this by creating events, contests, interviews, applications, etc. The president works with the Owner and VP(s). To get this you have to be an extremely experienced member of EMPIRE and have worked your way up whilst staying trustworthy and loyal. Unfortunately, for you guys, there will not be another one hired until the current one leaves or is fired.
Developer:
People who develop for EMPIRE such as making the theatre, scripting, etc. They are the people that keep EMPIRE theatre updated and running. They also build our awards and make sure that EMPIRE looks stunning and runs efficiently. This rank is unobtainable.
Owner:
This rank belongs to FedoraLivy, the current owner of EMPIRE Theatre. This rank is unattainable.
