How to become a House Intern!

At Bean House, there are various approaches to help you gain recognition and achieve the opportunity of becoming an admin. Being noticed is never an effortless task, as it does challenge a professional mindset, communication skills, and engagement towards Bean House. In which, our Head Admins have created a House Intern promotion guide to assist you with your journey here at Bean House, as our HAs believe you all possess the potential to become our next admin.

Things you must have to become a House Intern:

  • Have been a Head House Barista for 3 days.
  • Must be dedicated and active.
  • Must show you are professional, kind, and helpful to others.
  • Must have a Discord account, and in the Bean House server.
  • Must have safe chat disabled.
  • Good grammar skills!

Things you should do as an HHB:
While you’re a Head House Barista, it’s best you’re always working by serving customers. Head Admins look for staff members that are helpful and kind to others. Showing that you’re a nice person who works hard, and can assist others are the qualities admins need. Help out NEW baristas – provide them with how to send orders, how to create drinks, etc! You must show that you are a leader, however, a team player! Don’t be an annoying barista who gives off a selfish impression. You should be working consistently, working about 30 minutes+ daily shows you’re an active person. Try to do many shifts as possible, and be active daily. Have good grammar and correct sentence structure.

Things you shouldn’t do as an HHB:
While you’re a Head House Barista, it’s best you’re working. Don’t ask admins for recommendations, don’t hint about your position. Hinting can range from; “I’ve been working for so long!” to “I think I deserve a promotion, I work hard.” You shouldn’t be offering our admins unwanted items – we will notice your hard work and dedication when you are really hard-working. Avoid telling your friends to recommend you or create alternative accounts to recommend you, we would know as we always check. The only key to getting promoted is patient. The process will be quicker than you know it! Don’t give up!
