Enabled Particle Emitters in ReplicatedStorage?

I was not sure about, where to create this topic, and i thought scripters should know more,
about optimization.

  1. What do you want to achieve?
  • I am saving my VFXs containing enabled particle emitters in the Replicated Storage to achieve a fast activation just after i instance my vfx in the workspace.

  • My question is: this affect the performance of the game and i should disable them or does it not influence?

it does not influence I do not think, I would suggest asking others though.

Hello,
I know I’m quite a few years late to this thread but to help people like myself find a solution in the future; here’s the one I came up with.

No, particles are not simulated when parented to any services outside of workspace and GUI’s etc (obviously).

How did I reach this conclusion:
You’ll notice that when you move particles between workspace and other services, the particle emitter will begin emitting the moment you place it in workspace (as if you had it disabled prior), if you parent the particle emitter elsewhere in the workspace you’ll notice the particle emitter does not stop and re-start emitting therefore particle emission is not simulated outside of workspace.

If someone who knows for sure please correct / confirm this.
