Engine Bug: Recent Roblox update causing massive performance issues for Windows users

Game: Group Recruiting Plaza

Description: A recent Roblox update around February 1st has been causing large lag spikes for a good chunk of our player base for the last 3 days. This issue actually happened before around January 6th, however the Roblox update that caused the lag spikes seems to have been rolled back before we reported it.

This issue does not occur for mobile users, Mac users or users using the Windows store version of Roblox.

Users experiencing this issue are able to fix the issue by lowering their monitor resolution or using the Windows store version of Roblox.

Happened to my friends before, like I was saying on the previous forums. I suggest reinstalling Roblox, check your drivers and your updates. It is really weird that it starting to cause large lag spikes no matter what specs especially on windows.

Reinstalling Roblox does not fix the issue for players experiencing this issue.
