Hey, I’ve been staring intensely at the Future is Bright 2.5 post on EnvironmentDiffuseScale and EnvironmentSpecularScale and I don’t understand what they do differently from each other, much less what they actually do. I’ve tried searching it up but I haven’t found any results. Does anyone know what they do?
EnvironmentDiffuseScale controls the amount of view independent lighting reflected from the environment, scaled by the objects color, while EnvironmentSpecularScale controls the amount of view dependent lighting reflected from the environment, giving a mirror look to it.

environmentdiffusescale makes the environment blends with the sky color
