Epic Fight Scene

Hello guys, a friend and I created this cool Viking fight scene. The animations were done by my friend named TheSkimBoi, I did the scripting for the scene. Tell me what you guys think!

this would look a lot better if you used different camera angles!! rn the whole thing looks too linear. the fight itself looks very nice though, ur friend has a clear understanding of weight and fluidity in their animations.

Very nice! It looks very fluid and realistic!

It would look cooler if you moved the camera slowly around, though

Great, next step would be VFXs and more POVs? Not going to lie, you guys have the potentials to make viral roblox movies.

Wow, that’s an awesome animation, what did you used to make it?

It took a lot of trial and error for the timing, it was mainly adjusting the camera tweens so it was not too fast or too slow.

My friend used Blender to make the animations.

Thank you! And yeah once I have some free time I’ll have to add in SFX, VFX, etc.

I’m actually really excited for your next video. This was the best animation that I have ever seen that’s not made by professionals on YouTube. If y’all starts doing commissions I’ll be the first one to buy!

I really enjoy the animations a lot and as people previously stated, there could be visual effects and sound effects added to encorporate some impact into it. Otherwise I think whats missing is what artists call your “big-medium-small” details. Right now your foreground is flat grass part, mid ground is the characters, and the background is the trees.

Firstly Id try to make these elements more dynamic and intense. Include more tree types and have a varried set of sizes and orientations to really draw out the vibe of natural and less copy paste. Place down larger plants in the background such as brushes, shrubs, and medium sized foliage that can pull the eyes even further away from it and onto the main element, the characters.

Secondly, add more characters lying on the ground or generally more things in the midground. A change in elevation in the road? The path being the main leveled thing? Bits and pieces of rocks to help identify the road’s use over time, or maybe add another element to imply the paved road’s recent completion. Broken arrows and weapons to imply the battle that we see was taken over a longer period of time.

Thirdly, add flowers, arrows in the ground, or bodies right underneath the camera to truly set the mood for the scene. The foreground is especially important for setting a scene and a general mood, and in this case, has the same consistencies as tue background.

And while i truly do love the set and animations you have made for the characters, DO play around a bit with lighting! For example, your depth of field and bloom could truly highlight the characters in the field. Torches could be shown, banners, shields lying on the ground. Anything to really impact the mood from the cute vibe it is now! As i see it currently, i can see a lot of effort, and i truly believe you are almost done with it! I hope to see it finished as well

The last thing is another thing someone pointed out which is the camera being too linear. Maybe it could go super fast through the grass initially and then do a close up of the first initial clash of swords?
