August Quality of Life Update

After our long streak of summer updates, we’re coming in hot with loads of general improvements and bug fixes! This is the largest QoL update we’ve done yet with 65 total improvements.

:star: Improvements

  • Added setting for reverse mode (new “Tap to Reverse” or old “Auto Reverse”)
  • You should now be able to tow ATVs.
  • Guns should now match the color of your mafia.
  • Invisible bump in front of the wooden bridge has been removed. (RIP :headstone:)
  • Rims on the Navara Horizon 2013 have been updated.
  • Houses should now be able to be unlocked via front door interaction.

:beetle: Bug Fixes (lots of them)

  • You should now be able to equip the beanbag shotgun with other guns.
  • Model 29 should no longer be lost from inventory.
  • 2D belts should now be removed when the 3D duty belt is on.
  • Non-LEO personnel should now be able to leave the LCSO lot.
  • Bullets should correctly hit double doors.
  • Reload animation for the revolver should now work correctly.
  • Revolver should now reload correctly.
  • Broken street lamps should now respawn with restrictions off (20 mins).
  • Asphalt bucket preview should now display properly.
  • You should no longer be able to bypass the cooldown by purchasing the helicopter dev product in private servers.
  • Postals for 911 calls should now be accurate on the map.
  • You should no longer be able to run while in the hands-up animation after casting a line and canceling it.
  • Performing any animations (sit, lay down, etc.) and then fishing should no longer cause you to be stuck in third person.
  • Server shutdown screen should no longer be duplicated.
  • Sheriff Office should no longer have duplicate seats.
  • DMV should no longer have duplicate seats.
  • You should no longer be able to run while respawning.
  • Rain should no longer fall under the Oak Valley/Highway 55 underpass.
  • “Plant Explosive” pop-up should no longer show after exploding the bank vault door.
  • You should no longer get stuck in the seat at the bus stops when you ragdoll.
  • Pulling out a stretcher in the water should no longer cause you to get flung.
  • CAD map should now be fixed.
  • Drone on LEO team should now function correctly, with the camera properly aligned with the drone.
  • You should no longer be able to wash a car without paying.
  • PearPhone X borders should now display correctly.
  • The legacy mafia invite confirmation should now be removed (moved to phone).
  • Phone apps should no longer clip outside the PearPhone X.
  • Major server calls and miscellaneous call spawns should now be repositioned.
  • The normal bridge should now despawn during the Colonial Drive bridge collapse call.
  • You should now be able to change the speed limit sign for the exit ramp on the new bridge.
  • You should now be able to change the speed limit sign at Springfield near the bus stop outside of the hotel.
  • Floating trash at the on-ramps near postal 302 should now be removed.
  • Missing window pieces at 2211 should now be fixed.
  • The floating part in the gas depot office space should now be fixed.
  • Pillar on Freedom Bridge should no longer be floating, preventing players from getting stuck.
  • Part scaling issues on the Freedom Ave. entrance to the underground parking garage should now be fixed.
  • The wall at the underground garage entrance should now be scaled up all the way.
  • Park poking through at station 2 should now be fixed.
  • Missing interior from the construction office should now be added.
  • Glass on the north side of the DMV building should now fill the windows, eliminating any gaps between the glass and window frame.
  • Random bollard in the gas depot should now be removed.
  • Bridge at Hwy 55 and Oak Valley should no longer narrow without reason. The shoulder should now remain consistent.
  • Terrain under Highway 55 Northbound near 1204 should now rise to meet the road.
  • Ladders at postal 213 should now be climbable.
  • Bridge should no longer have parts where you cannot place placeables or where usernames are hidden.
  • Newly added classic cars should now drive in a straight line.
  • You should now be able to refuel your ATV or UTV with an EV spawned.
  • FD Chevlon Camion 2018 should now have the option to equip a trailer hitch.
  • Antenna should no longer clip with the LED rotary lightbar.
  • Falcon eStallion 2024 wheels should no longer clip into the Mod Shop floor.
  • Tow truck should no longer glitch if DOT worker becomes wanted while towing.
  • Fire extinguishers should no longer be equippable while in a vehicle.
  • FD custom ELS should now correctly show the front pattern on the rear of vehicles.
  • Right side light on the Falcon Advance 2018 should now shine red instead of yellow.
  • Bullhorn SFP Fury should now take damage properly.
  • Shuttle bus windows should now be see-through.
  • Vellfire Everett Crew Cab 1995 on the DOT team should now be colored white instead of yellow.
  • Rotary light bar should no longer glitch out for others.
