Error Launching Experience Places

For some reason I can’t post in bug reports, so I’m posting it here, the closest thing.
Whenever I try to open an experience place, it gives the following error.
(It reads “Launch Task EditPlace requires valid -placeid”)

This never happened until now, however opening them through asset manager not working has been occurring for a while. This also happens with all places for all games.
I have tried re-installing studio, opening it through the website, opening it through recent in studio, using a link to open it, using asset manager, restarting my computer, and logging in and out of studio. Googling comes up with nothing.

Open studio and go to recent. Does opening it from there work?

Nope. Its a place inside of an experience, it doesn’t even show up there.
In fact, I am pretty sure I tried this before. I have edited the post accordingly.

I’m still having this issue. Is there seriously not a soul out there that knows how to fix this?

I don’t know the fix, but I do know that -placeId is an argument to the .EXE file opened. If reinstalling studio doesn’t help, I recommend going into regedit and deleting or changing some of the registry keys associated with opening studio (if any, I don’t know if any are associated with studio).

Then, if that doesn’t work, try passing the arguments manually. Go into a command prompt and run RobloxStudioBeta.EXE [arguments] (I do not know the order of the arguments).

If you are still having problems, try using an older version of Studio using the Roblox mod manager or an archive of the older versions of Studio (such as 2010-2016 versions) that can be found on the internet archive.

That’s a good idea! Until I find 50 instances of roblox studio. I ain’t going through 50 for one bug. I also tried the command prompt and since I basically have no idea how to use command prompt aside from cd and constantly forgetting how to type the run command right I gave up on that too.

After a fresh re-install (fresh as in removing EVERY DANG INSTANCE OF ROBLOX OFF OF MY PC) I STILL have this issue. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME ROBLOX???

I have fixed it! Going to develop and then clicking the place to go to its game page and then clicking edit worked.
