Error when buying Catalog items Invaild arguments

Sometimes when I’m trying to purchase items from the catalog, I run into an issue where a pop-up appears with an error message saying “Invalid Parameter” or “Invalid Arguments.”

This prevents me from completing the purchase, and I’m not sure why it’s happening. It seems to occur randomly, and refreshing the page or trying again later doesn’t always fix the problem.

Expected behavior

I should be able to purchase the item and it appears in my inventory!

i also posted another report here about the website not loading

I got the same problem on my end with all items from the catalog. Packages, animations, clothings & accessories. It started happening since at least a month ago.

You didn’t answer the engineer’s question… please do so or you’re wasting their time

Also, don’t mark the reply as a solution as this auto-closes the report after 2 weeks of inactivity

all items i tried buying multi items it just did it to every item

@Alfiepro98234 We are unable to reproduce this on our end. We are not able reproduce issues with your follower page either.

If you have a screenshot or details from the web browser’s inspector page; or console logs on which network calls are failing please add details - It will help us triage this better. Thank you

did you try to buy the item or did you buy the item?

because this issue only happens when you click the buy button and the confirm thingy not just buy

also im using firefox browser if that matters
but anyways ill try and get those console logs for you but currently the catalog isnt loading at all.

Also recieving this same issue with Firefox browser as of 6th May 2025

It happens to everything, but when reloading the page, it works again.

Hey dude-- If you’re using Firefox, here is how to solve it.

Click the hamburger menu.

Click history.


Click “Clear recent history”.

Firefox is kind of buggy in the Roblox website, hopefully this helps.
If you need to, refresh the page. (Sorry for necroposting.)
