Error When Publishing Audio

Hello everyone!

:writing_hand: This is my first post, so please excuse me if I’m not completely accurate!

I’ve been experiencing for a few months now that when I upload an audio file to Roblox, I can’t make it public:

The original audio is 15 seconds long, yet Roblox says it is 0:00 long:

:warning: Note: this audio does not violate the Roblox Community Guidelines.

Please confirm if y’all are also experiencing this error or if it is just me!
Thanks in advance for your answers!

Sincerely,
Benjámin

No no no, it’s not just you.

If I look at all my created audio, it shows, thta the length is 0:0, but you can play the game anyways

Two years ago Roblox made the sensibly most backlashed (on the DevForum) move of all time to “temporarily” freeze marketplace support for audio when they implemented the new privacy system. Unfortunately the 6-second cutoff only applied to audio uploaded prior to the change.

It is indeed a Roblox issue where private audio will show a zero’d out length but may still play the full length of the asset if you whitelist it to your game by inserting it from the inventory section of the toolbox (copying and pasting the sound id will not work).
