Error when trying to save a game with many parts/unions

I need to save the finished game file to an existing game.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Open “Dangerous New.rbxl”
  2. FILE – Save to Roblox As…
  3. Select any place for overwrite

Expected Results
The file is saved without any errors

Actual Results
When trying to overwrite (save), an error is displayed.
The file is saved without errors if the “Maps” folder is deleted.

A game can be saved without errors if there are no more than 1-2 maps.
Also no difference “Save to Rublox” or “Save to Rublox As…”.
Since I tried to manually copy from a file to roblox, and then save, but it also caused an error.

EDIT: It feels like there is a maximum number of parts that can be saved.
I’m trying to save the game by adding 1 map at a time, but the Cubes map won’t save in any way.

The 2 first saves are the first 2 maps (“Airoport” and “Cpoms office”), after which attempts to save the “Cubes” map
and the same thing happens with other maps

Thanks for the report! We’ll follow up when we have an update for you.

Hey @Petrovu4R
Is this still an issue for you? We recently updated our CSG upload system, so this issue should be mitigated

I never managed to save the whole file, same error.
But saving one map at a time worked.
First saved the game without maps, and then copying 1 map (and so with all).
Difficult maps were saved on 2-3 attempts, I made attempts to save every 10-15 min.

Are you talking about recently, or did you get it to work around time you posted originally?

1/16/2024 At about 10:00(+3:00), I started saving the game 1 map at a time.
1/17/2024 Before replying, I tried 8 times, save the whole file.

Hi! Unfortunately, we currently do have a limit on the number of unions each save/publish can carry. We recognize this is not ideal and apologize for the inconvenience. We will consider a fix here for the long run but cannot promise a date. For now, please consider saving/publishing the place more incrementally as you apply unions to build objects.
