Escape mazes while battling your foes in this up-and-coming, action-packed game!

Hi all

We at Tarantula Games would like some feedback on our new game, Maze Craze 2!

In this game, you escape countless randomly-generated mazes while battling against your friends and foes!

This game is still in alpha, and hasn’t been officially released yet–we’ve saved several features for later in order to keep it an MVP (minimal viable product).

Please use these polls if you don’t have extensive feedback (it’ll take less than 2 minutes):

it’s a good concept, and can be fun. i voted on the polls that i believe I COULD vote on because no one was with me, so i played alone

it’s not too hard to learn. just jump in and start fighting, energy is quickly learnt, and the weapon type is easily identifiable (projectile, melee, etc.)

my initial thought was that players would just be fighting in a maze map, not also trying to escape it, so maybe a message can address that. the damaging spike was also a little hard to see. maybe add an effect that brings contrast to it. (outline, particle emittion, etc.)

the UI is fine, but some color choices can be better.

i’m not a huge fan of this black gradient, maybe just replace it with a lighter color. (bright yellow with light yellow for example)

i can’t judge enjoyment playing alone, but i think it has potential to be a chaotic and fun game with other players.

nice job though! while not on the poll, the models and building in the game were nice.

Thank you for your feedback! We’ve made the black gradient simply a darker version of the base color, and we’ve added text and other visual elements so that players know they have to escape the maze.

Hopefully you’ll get a chance to play with some people!
