There is. I haven’t updated the discord server that much. Maybe this week or next week, I could remodel it. Thanks for pointing that out!
ChatService in progress… (25%)
Slash commands are implemented in the new ChatService dependency module (Essential’s TextChat supporter). I’ll show a demonstration of this in a showcase video sometime soon.
I recently finished implementing shadow mute and text chat bypass for text chat. (I will announce this later including other implementations that I may not have discussed today) And there’s one more thing off to finish in the implementation of TextChat: ChatTags
Should I implement this forth or will it be too much for you developers?
Just a side note, the ChatService server dependency module, which takes control over the TextChannel ShouldDeliverCallback
system and TextSources, is compatible to third party chat modules for creating chat message callbacks, system messages, and chat bubbles.

50% done with Chat Tags/Display Name feature. Currently in development on the sub tasks for this:
- Disguise command (also including character change)
- Changing display name & color
- Cross chat & messaging
Here’s a quick demo of the disguisename command. (Different from the other command disguise)
Add Even More Fun Commands that Any Player can Use it on Himself/Herself.
Also make sure the Display Name and Color can be Changed by Moderators (or Higher Rank), and Disguise as another Player (even while Offline), which is still Only by Moderators (or Higher Rank).
Make it so Administrators can assign (or remove) Moderator Permissions, and Senior Admins to assign (or remove) Administrator Permissions. Also Make it so Owners can assign (or remove) Senior Admin Permission.
Make a List of Warnings, and also a List of Personalized Rules.
Whenever the release date is, I really want it now

Sorry I haven’t been quite active on posting updates about Essential! I wasn’t able to access Devforum last week and throughout the past two weeks, I was fixing on Essential for some bugs that my friend addressed.
Last week shortly after fixing the major bugs, I was going to release Essential into public and announce it until my friend had trouble configuring the developer settings. And one of which concerns that I needed to make a documentation out of it. The documentation is not yet ready until sometime in April. It’s also why I haven’t moved this post to Community Resources quite frankly.
Alternatively, I could share you guys the link to the Github repo while I am still in the process of making it. What do yall think? Would you be able to understand Essential on your own? Don’t worry, the dev settings have commentaries but aren’t very extensive in comprehension.
- Sure, why not?
- No, we can wait

I also would like to point that Github repository has some releases ready for public. It has all the files necessary to run Essential: MainModule & Loader.
Here’s the link to the Github repo:
Feel free to try it out! Instructions how to install are shown on the Github releases. As of right now, the latest release is v0.9.1-prer
. It’s quite stable except for the older releases. None of the releases listed are yet fully released. The drafted release v0.9.1 is still not ready until a few weeks later.
