This is my first ever feedback post, and I’d love to see how it goes. Below I attach images of my almost finished highway underpass intersection. All feedback is very appreciated!
the underpass looks stellar! Your roads are clean, aligned, properly marked and at the places where they should be. The small lights along the main road and guardrail, combined with neat looking traffic signs are the icing on the cake.
However, there’s one thing I’d like to point out, being the severe road elevation. It might just be this screenshot, but this section seems to be incredibly steep and quite a risk for your average car to climb.
Thank you so much for your very sweet words and feedback, they truly made my day!
As for the road elevation, it’s the angle haha! I tried it with multiple vehicles and horsepowers, and climbing is possible. I think this screenshot might show the elevation a little better!
That “pass obstacle on either side” sign, with a red and white chevron sign underneath it reminds me of Russia. But there’s also a British-style green arrow sign, so I’m not sure which country this is in.
The road grade is way too steep. It really spoils the realism. Other than that, this looks good.
The signs are temporary for now. I’ve found some and used them just to see how they look, but once the road network is fully finished, I’ll make necessary changes to match realistic road sign guidelines.
As for the road grade, it’s been pointed out before, and this is what it looks like from the side.
I understand that the shape is wobbly, but this is the best I can do due to map size limitations. And I am sure my players won’t mind a little unrealistic elevation!
This looks absolutely brilliant!
I have little to no criticism. I am no civil engineer, nor do i know much about traffic behavior, so take my opinion with a massive “pinch” (shipping container) of salt.
I think that the right hand side road entering the “roundabout” part of the intersection, might have a bit of a sharp turn, but i am not sure at what speeds you would enter the intersection so thats debatable.
I see you have added guardrails along the road but maybe you could add some between the two lanes that exit/enter the above-ground part of the intersection, so that the cars accidentally drive into oncoming traffic.
Thats all i have to say.
Apart from those points, this looks bussing.
