Every time I try to publish my game all it says: "Publish Failed"

I figured it out.

  1. Install this plugin: Terrain Save and Load - Roblox
  2. Go to your main game
  3. Open the plugin
  4. Click save
  5. The plugin will create a new terrain named “SavedTerrain” in Workspace. Click right mouse button and choose copy option.
  6. Keep your main game opened and go to your baseplate game
  7. Insert the copied terrain in the baseplate game
  8. Open the plugin
  9. Before clicking load make sure that the copied terrain is selected in Explorer
  10. Click Load to load terrain

Alright I copied the map manually, “Publish failed”

I suggest getting all the models scrips and then throw it into a brand new baseplate then it might work

I had a problem updating a game of mine a couple years ago, my place was 20MB, after much toil I finally figured out it was an upload bandwidth cap setting I had on my router.

Go to a bandwidth checking web site and check upload bandwidth, your download limits are not relevant to uploading your game update.

This may not be your problem but its something to check. (I can now upload games over 60MB after increasing my internet upload bandwidth)

Hmm, I can’t publish my 60MB game now either, maybe they changed some limits with a recent update.

I timed my upload fails and they all fail at exactly the same timeout period, just over 60 seconds. I think Roblox has decreased this timeout, pretty sure it used to be a 2 minute limit. This is gonna be a problem for large games or people with slower upload bandwidth. With my upload limit of 5Mbit, my max upload in 1 minute is just over 30MB, so I can’t update my 60MB game now.

I hope they undo this change.

I think Roblox changed the Publish timeout limit to 1 minute, it used to be 2 I think, I hope they reverse this change.

This must be the problem I’m having. I have a slow connection and have been having a lot of trouble publishing the last month or so. Do you have a link for the post/update for it by chance?

Edit: Grammar

No, I don’t know the update that broke it. I’m just speculating that a recent update broke this because I was updating my Grand Canyon game before this changed. The last time I was able to publish it was:
6/6/21 02:39 AM

I hope they undo this change.

Maybe you have a friends house you could go and try it. Somewhere with a fast connection.

I Figured it out!
Seems like it’s a kind of glitch, after several tries of publishing the game and every time it says “Publish Failed” , I checked the game I wanted to publish the updates into and it’s actually updated, even though it kept saying Publish failed, So if you’re having the same issues and you tried all solutions on this topic and didn’t work, check if your game got updated or not, it can be a glitch like mine!

Thanks for those who helped.

Sadly this isn’t the case for me. Would it be appropriate for me to start a new thread since this one is now marked for “solution?”

I don’t think that’s a solution, I think your internet upload speed just got lucky and managed to upload the game.

My upload speed is 32Mpbs so I don’t think it’s from internet connection, Also I’ve published many heavier games in size, it only happens in this game
