Everything in studio is lagging / stuttering

For the past week, when I go on studio, I have been experiencing an irritating lag.
This lag occurs everywhere in studio, including the script editor which is especially annoying; all the text I type feels delayed.

I do not believe it is a performance issue on my computer, as my laptop which does not have a dedicated gpu with a less powerful cpu performs fine. This lag only occurs on studio, it does not occur on any other application.

G-sync is disabled
I have updated and reinstalled drivers
I have reinstalled studio

I already said this on a different post, but here:
Go to File > Studio settings > Rendering
And change it to some other engine. I changed it to Vulkan and it didn’t lag any more.
