Big news.
We’ve received great news that our funding proposal for TRC for the 2018-19 year has been approved! This is a gigantic blessing. This means that eventually, probably mid to late September, TheAmericanNation (Tanner) and I will actually be coming on as paid staff of TRC. Being able to focus on this great work without having the financial burden in college is the evidence of God pushing this church forward. The proposal would provide TRC with $20,000 to provide for many of the major financial burdens we have had to pay out of my pocket in the past.
About $1,000 of that will go to renovating TRC’s current in game facilities so that they run smoothly across all of the consoles Roblox is on. It would also provide a new church building, animations, ui, landscape, and clothing items!
Another $1,200 will provide for all of TRC’s behind the scenes services and tools such as google suite, our website, and approximately 85,000 robux that will be used in a long term ad-campaign.
We will also be spending $615 to purchase an Xbox One and Oculus Rift so that we can optimize the Roblox player end experience at TRC places.
For transparency, the bulk of the funding is to allow Tanner and I to continue to lead TRC without having to work a part time job in college. That is where the majority of the funding, $16,000 will be designated.
