As a Roblox developer and a group owner, it is currently impossible to detect who did something by searching the name of the user where this action was executed on.
Hello, guys! I am sure you were pretty angry when you saw someone being kicked unfairly. You tried checking the audit logs, and after much time, you finally found he was kicked by your little annoying brother, lol. However, we could find this in an easier way, if there was an “Executed On” filter in the Audit Log.
How it will work:
- You go to the Audit Log page.
- You type a username in the “Executed On” field.
- All the actions that affected this user will be listed there together with who did them.
You could search actions by roles, too. Before the name, you will type a prefix like @ and type the role name, or there could be a separate field for roles.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development and group management experience because it would be easier to detect unauthorized actions made by group admins.
