Hello, my name is Ethanaut. I am an experienced programmer, and second year student of Chemical Engineering. I am looking to build team experience and collaborate!
I am strongly proficient in Calculus (good for tricky features) and Linear Algebra (extremely important for optimization). I am strongly proficient in realistic projectile systems, and I have a solid background in physics.
Skill Set
- 4 years of experience with Roblox Luau.
- Strongly proficient with efficient and secure server - client replication.
- Extremely familiar with datastores, saving and loading securely. (Handling crashes for example).
- Substantial tycoon and simulator development experience.
- Strongly familiar with combat game mechanics and optimization requirements.
- Specialization in simulating realistic projectile systems.
- Proficient and fast troubleshooter.
Some things I see other developers mention often:
- Yes, I am proficient in Object Oriented Programming. (Is it even possible to not be in Luau?)
- I am strongly versed in using module scripts.
- I know my way around network ownership and replication.
- I have strong experience in physics assemblies and rendering models efficiently.

Some other work I have done includes a pirate game called Seadogs and Scallywags. It has not yet been released, however I was commissioned to complete their cannons and do some general debugging. The cannons have realistic projectile physics, and are capable of properly following the player cursor regardless of the rocking of the boat.
Availability
I am available for most hours of most days, I am currently on summer break from university.
