Hello, I’m DDR8 and I’m a Lua scripter on Roblox with many years of experience (started around 2017). I’m a self-taught coder who works best alone but have no issue coding with others. My code is fluid, readable, and is limited to nothing except physics-related stuff. What I have to showcase isn’t your typical script or game, it’s actually the entire Roblox platform put inside of Roblox. Literally.
Showcase
This game is my most recent work and was an independent project of mine for ~2 years. until I ceased ownership awhile back. All aspects of gameplay in these first two videos were made by a single developer- me. Click the image to view the trailer.
Above is the official showcase for Variant Studio, a program in Variant that allows you to create your own game for others to play. One very suggested feature I had was a Team Create option, and that’s just one example of the type of complex tasks I’m able to take on.
In this more recent, user-made video you can see players playing “Fortnite” inside Variant inside Roblox. Even after leaving this project two years ago, you can see how well my code has held up with all of Roblox’s major recent changes.
I also found this YouTube short that covers alot of the major features I added, including a fully operational trading system and economy, a character customizer, and even a studio creator with sandbox scripting.
I’ve primarily provided just videos for showcase, unless you want to see my past work directly in-game. Keep in mind I’m no longer working and haven’t worked on this game in 2 years, although proof of work appears in the trailer thumbnail and group bio for the game.
Availability
My schedule is flexible. I’m available to put in as much time as necessary to make a great game, hours per day if needed.
Payment
I only want to be paid for a game that actually gets released.
