Made 2 soundtracks to test out some genres that I haven’t tried before (or at least not fully into it).
Any thoughts?

Sounds like melodic tearout in the first. That lead sounds so boxed in(it’s trapped somewhere) and could be allowed a little into the higher range. For the bass techniques and rhythms, they sound excellent.
Second one has an interesting use of Amen breaks(oh boy) and it sounds more disjointed than the previous(in a good way!). There seems to be a little sibilance issue on the lead in the later half and my ears tire from them.
Keep experimenting… it will be fun. Trust!
