I’ve never understood what the “Archivable” does in Part properties. I’ve looked up what it means and hovered over the tab in hopes of learning what it’s used for, but my small brain doesn’t understand.
Is it important? Do I want it enabled? Will it unleash the Roblox Studio gremlins if I disable it?
It makes the part ‘saveable’ to Roblox files, or is able to be Cloned (copied) in game.
If it isn’t Archiveable then neither of those things can be done.
Normally you wouldn’t. But let’s say you use a plugin that puts temporary objects into Workspace or ServerStorage. Would you want these temporary objects being saved with the rest of your game?
