No, in their ToS they said they can discontinue for any reason, and they serviced their buyers for years on years, all buyers knew what they are getting into, there is no “buyers remorse” for products that are borderline illegal.

Might be quite late already, but pointing out that I’m pretty sure that when people bought from Synapse there must have been a “I accept Terms & Conditions” box which on legal level allows them to collect the data as they please.
