i doubt they would get sued, my guess is just that they needed money or were just tired of trying to push out v3 which is crazy because of how well developed it was

As it is obvious, this reminds me of the Minecraft being purchased by Microsoft.
A lot of users who attempt to create chaos to P2W games being no longer able to make alternative accounts to bypass bans to exploit for the greater good of the sake of F2P.
Roblox is a known factor of having a lot of âexperiencesâ in their own platform that include many P2W gamepasses and other kind of objects that you can pay with to get certain benefits others cannot get.
Roblox actually taking down one of the most certified and safest exploit sites would cause certain users to have some slight disadvantages such as communities that focus on targetting pay-to-win experiences that work with low effort and huge profits. Many work hard to make their own games and they donât earn same respect as those who simply makes about 10 hours of a project instead of weeks and gain far more popularity than the ones who worked the longest.
As it is further on, I mentioned previously about one of the influencers, it may be clear that Roblox taking away the trusty Synapse off the table is sort of problematic, but it still does not take away one of the major factors of what a âsafeâ platform Roblox is. It encourages young children to give in to some sort of weird communities and give them no visible education in their life including âworking on Roblox Studio as if it was a real jobâ(removed 2 years ago as if it was meant to be a lie).
And I fully want to make it clear, I fully wish to have the chance to get a possible Moderation power to aid Roblox not as a paid worker but as a volunteer to help people in public. Videos are spread and spoken about many great deals Roblox overlooks and yet nothing is done whatsoever for years to come.

Like railworks just said on Mastodon, this was not on my bingo cards either.
Iâm intrigued to see how this partnership works out. I really hope that this will put an end to the exploiting problem on Roblox once and for all. Itâs been largely a whack-a-mole game with Roblox and Synapse, and considering Roblox is now partnering with them, I am feeling very positive for the future of anti-exploits on Roblox.

Going to the Synapse X webpage has their announcement.
We have shut down the softwareâs services as of this announcement, and all user data has been deleted.
I think holding onto a bunch of user data (data which is likely belonging to a lot of minors) would have been a massive liability if Synapse wants to go legit with a clean start. What use would Roblox have for that data, finding users that used the exploit software? Not really effective considering the ease of alts and VPNs, and again, a massive liability for Roblox.
