When trying to paste objects from one game file, it will not paste to another studio instance.
Likewise, when in script editor or out of script editor, I cannot use keybinds like duplicating or pasting in the same studio instance.
This was claimed to be fixed in patch notes 658
Expected behavior
Keybinds to work as expected, and able to paste/insert from one studio instance to another.
I’ve noticed that pasting from one studio instance to another is broken, except there is a workaround: select an object inside the workspace and magically you’re able to paste the object you’re trying to paste!
The release notes are incorrect–this is not live. The fix we were ready to deploy did not work, we’re still actively working on it.
I’m gonna mark this as closed since the copying bug is filed here, and the script editor bug is filed elsewhere. Thanks!
