If you select any two things (exactly two), and then use Ctrl+Left click in the Explorer window to deselect one, the other will also be deselected. If you deselect one of them by Ctrl+Left click in the Workspace, only the part you clicked on will be deselected, which is what I expected to happen.
I think this has been happening for a while, but it only recently occurred to me to post a report here.
