Export Selection to Blender as Separate Parts

Hi, I’m trying to animate or make renders with my ROBLOXian in Blender, but when I export my humanoid as an OBJ from ROBLOX studio it makes everything be one object. I am confused because every tutorial I see on youtube shows everything being exported as different parts such as the arms, legs, hats, and everything all being separate. Am I doing something wrong or did something change?

I am experiencing the exact same problem, although I do use Blender 2.7, when I make a Mesh which should have 10 ish parts, after importing it to Roblox with OBJ. it only gives me about 2 parts. I’ve been experiencing this for the last 2 days now…
