So basically 1 random day when i went to studio in attempt to move, rotate, scale stuff were extreemly lagging. It’s like a 4 seconds lag when you try to move them and 4 seconds lag when you let go. The place that we have is actually not that huge and doesn’t contain that many parts cause we weren’t lagging upon making it, it just started lagging a random day. Also for some unknown reason the dragging tool doesn’t have any issue at all
For some unknown reason a very small amount of models aren’t actually lagging when moving them and it’s actually so weird…
This 4 seconds lag also happens when i insert a part and this isn’t related to my pc cause all of my team has the same problem, here is a video
The last thing i remember that i had done before this occurred was that i simply had copied a part of the stuff we have to another place which had froze my studio for around 2 minutes upon copying…
Have you checked to see if your pc is processing anything else in the background? Otherwise try and shut down studio and restart to see if the problem still persists.
Do you have Move or Rotate set to a number higher than 1?
Has your computer or wifi recently been very unresponsive?
Suggestions if the problem still occurs:
Delete and reinstall roblox studio
Narrow down what can be causing the problem, like opening another place and sees if it lags there, (if so then it’s a studio or computer problem), or if it just lags in that one place, (if so then there’s something in that one place that is causing your problem, then continue to narrow it down by messing around with stuff in workspace)
If all is done and problem still occurs, contact roblox support.
I have experienced the same issue, I fixed it by going through my workspace and looking for any humanoids as mentioned by @MrOof_9400, There can also be any GUI’s floating around in workspace which can somehow cause lag and my last option is check your graphic settings if you’re pc is a low end one.
I had this same problem. There was a bone meshpart in the Workspace (I hardly mess around with those kinds of things at all, I was unaware but I feel stupid now realizing that it was the cause) and it caused any part being resized with the Scale Tool to create unbearable lag.
I regret bumping the thread for such a meaningless post only seconds after posting, but there’s nothing I can do about it now.
