Extremely slow startup for games?

Some games I open take a really long time to even begin loading, like it connects me to a server but no players nor any game data is loaded. I was gonna say its my internet but this happens to certain games only, while others work fine…

Load up times can take up to 30 minutes ( yea I’m that patient… )

I live in Libya so I’m not sure if thats the issue where I’m just too far away and getting super cruddy ping…

My upload/download are 12/10 Mbps. I have a windows 8.1 and latest roblox version.

Edit: Once I DO connect and start playing though there is 0 lag.

Probably your ping. I get a slow startup sometimes too, and it’s depending on ping. You should check your internet speeds.

Did you check that in-game or through a speed test?

Is this consistant? Have you tried attempting to load the game several times instead of waiting so long? Sometimes Roblox takes forever to load for me (Knoxville, TN, USA), and I have to close the window and press “Play” again and it’ll eventually load instantly.

yep, one of the games is PF, I play it every day, I did try to exit and reconnect hoping to get a closer server but… no luck.
