I previously posted a thread about how I had considered the idea of making an F-Zero game on ROBLOX (lot’s of info on there), while I’m still not solid on actually doing this yet, I was at least still curious enough to make a quick draft of what it ‘could’ look like.
Naturally, being a still image this doesn’t really replicate the true feel that a game like this could provide and I didn’t exactly go full out on building the track or including HUD elements. Point being…there would be more to it, this is just a small taste I suppose.
(The image shown here is an updated version of the original image that’s initially being referred to, for a comparison against the old one, check one of my later posts on this thread.)
Oh and on a side note, unfortunately I’m restricted to only owning paint.net so it wasn’t really possible to get the desired quality out of the image.
*update: 1/24/15: Created new prototype image.
For anybody that wishes to download the demonstration of this place to check it out for themselves: Dropbox - Error - Simplify your life

Thanks for the advice (and compliments), but I’m already very well aware of alternative programs/plugins available.
While I do appreciate the tips relating to editing software, I’d prefer it if feedback was more directly related to what’s on show. I only added that last bit in to the post as an afterthought, it’s not a primary issue.

I did comment that it was nice, sorry I was trying to be helpful
This is something that looks interesting, any eta for when we can get a little taste?

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come across in such an unappreciative manner. I simply don’t need help in that area, that’s all.
Regarding the future of this project and when things might actually get moving somewhere: That really comes down to if or when I can get other developers on board (Madattak has already expressed a keen interest, yet he is also very caught up in other matters).
I myself have no scripting knowledge so I can only take things so far. While I am obviously eager to see this go somewhere it’s not something that I’ll burden others with, people who wish to contribute would be welcomed with open arms and there wouldn’t be any expectations and that’s that. It may not be the most healthy approach for development, but in my eyes it’s better that something is made of people’s own dedication than out of forced reasoning.
